Can a different type of house structure really make a difference to my energy bills?

Yes! The climate in Sweden is even more severe than ours, so these houses are built to handle everything nature can throw at them. The Swedish government and customers have demanded a much higher standard of energy efficiency from their houses for many years – with Trivselhus by Esh homes giving you a rating of ‘A’ compared to the more usual ‘E’. It is all in the ‘climate shield’ construction. This means that even without the added energy savings from the solar energy and heat recycling technology this type of house will cost far less to heat, because so little of it is lost to the outside. 

I really want to buy a new house, but I’m stuck in a chain. Is there any way around this?
